New Year’s Eve
Join us for the City of Kitchener’s annual countdown to the New Year!
This year, we’re ringing in 2018 with a special retro morning cartoon theme.
Location: Kitchener City Hall
Date: December 31
Time: 6pm – midnight
We have tons of fun panned for the whole family including:
- A special appearance by the Mystery Machine and Flintstone vehicles.
- Retro cartoon arcade games by Canadian Toy Con. Be sure to bring your quarters!
- Hundreds of cereal boxes on display from the past.
- Make and take themed craft for kids starting at 6pm while quantities last.
- Breakfast cereal counter! Pour a bowl of your favourite cereal with milk for donation to the Rotary Club of Kitchener.
- Free ice skating on Carl Zehr Square.
- Live music performance from 10pm to midnight with Sound Parade.
- A live countdown to 2018 with members of council.
