Jackson Browne has written and performed some of the most literate and moving songs in popular music and has defined a genre of songwriting charged with honesty, emotion and personal politics. He has sold over 18 million albums in the United States alone thanks to songs such as “Running On Empty”, “Doctor My Eyes”, These Days”, and “Take It Easy” which was a worldwide hit for the Eagles. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004 by none other than Bruce Springsteen, and the Songwriter’s Hall of Fame in 2007.
