After a successful battle in 2015, we are back for round two to bring you Battle for
KOI at Maxwell’s 2016. KOI Music Festival and Maxwell’s Concerts and Events are two local
Kitchener-Waterloo based businesses dedicated to building the music community and
supporting the arts. KOI Music Festival has held the ARC Battle for the past 10 years working
with over 400 local artists. Maxwell’s consistently showcases the best up and coming artists
and many international and award winning artists. The end goal of the battle is to provide
valuable feedback for each band and to provide tools and resources to help your band get to the
next level in the music industry. The battle not only strengthens the music community, it
provides a fun and safe environment to explore music from within their own community while
showcasing amazing homegrown talent.
