Canada indie rock band Half Moon Run’s eclectic sound has earned the respect of millions. Their fans live around the globe: Canada, the US, Mexico, Australia, Germany, Poland, Belgium, Malaysia…the list goes on. Their songs and videos have received millions of hits on YouTube. (“Call Me in the Afternoon” alone has 2.5 million views).

Half Moon Run’s eclectic style sets them apart from the others. Maybe you hear a touch of U2 in “Call Me in the Afternoon” or a hint of 80s rock in “Trust.” The vast array of musical styles they’ve infused into their songs shows only the tip of the iceberg that makes Half Moon Run the international success they are.

Plants and Animals
Plants and Animals are a Montreal-based trio that began playing together as kids, emerged on the international scene in 2008 and have developed a varied cult following ever since, built this on the shoulders of their self-produced records, their intense live show, or both—depending on who you ask. April 2016’s Waltzed In From the Rumbling is their first album in nearly four years. It is Plants and Animals’ most soulful and inventive collection of music yet. Eleven soundtracks for leaps taken, ships sailed, dark water and pink skies.
